Hunter Wink: Sound Mixer
The first time I used a video camera I was approximately ten years old. I would set the camera up in my room and film random skits and stop motion films. I was introduced to video editing in middle school, during a school news program. I was a co-host for the weather, my partner and I would film weather/comedy segments and insert them into the broadcast. After that, I continued filming random videos in my spare time. I would film skateboarding videos; I would edit the videos and add music scores. When I reached college, I decided to pursue a degree in video editing. I learned programs like Final Cut Pro, Premier, Logic Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. I learned a lot about video editing, but I wanted to explore music production too. So I started producing my own tracks and learning about audio production. Last summer I did an internship for audio mastering at Universal Music Group in California. This helped me further my knowledge in audio mastering. I am a DJ too so I enjoy combining my mixes with video effects. I’ve always had an interest in production. I find it very rewarding to present a finished project to the world. Listen to his work at: www.soundcloud.com/hunterwink
